1969 Porsche 911T Targa LHD

From a production date of April 1969, to Netherlands specification this B Series 911T Targa had a 2.0L engine (901/03) fitted to Weber Carburettors to produce 110 horsepower at 5800rpm and is from a production year of just 282 vehicles. This rare European model car is to be considered painted in Colour/Code 6808 (Burgundy Red) from the its listed Colour/Code 6806 (Irish Green) and shows an after market, believed Porsche, later dated interior (front seats). The 901/03 engine had year model changes to a Magnesium crankcase and 770-watt alternator. The ‘Letter of Origin’ shows the car was originally supplied to Pon Auto, Netherlands (recognised Porsche exporters) from new. The vehicle is factory optioned from new with: Roof Ski Rack, Rubber Buffers on Bumper Horns, 911S Instruments, and handling Front, and Rear Stabilisers a good worthwhile addition to this model year/type.

This car is offered to require full restoration (rolls and steers) and as a mostly solid and neglected early 911, first year, long wheel base. The vehicle documentation lists its original Matching Number engine 6196057 and transmission 7091140 supplied from new which are no longer present with the vehicle. Although this car has had the engine/transmission removed and these are no longer with the car, there is strong potential to restore and transform to an original, period correct, much in demand, early Long Wheel Base (LWB) Porsche, or as an excellent starting point for an Electric Vehicle (EV) conversion at a low entry price.

The vehicle is currently located in our warehouse on Guernsey; we have held the car for close to 6 years from originally being found in Calgary and imported via British Columbia, Canada. We hold a full, signed Porsche ‘Letter of Origin’ but do not have the original vehicle logbook/license and as such will be sold with a ‘bill of sale’ only.
