1967 Porsche 911 Soft Window Targa LHD

From a production date of July 1967, this 0 Series, 911 Targa is in the original, delightful, rare factory soft window format from a production year of 718 vehicles, it is shown in its original Colour/Code 6602 (Polo Red), and still retains the original Black Leatherette interior. The car shows the original much sought after green instrument dials from the first run 0 Series. The Certificate of Authenticity shows the car was originally supplied to Northwest, Beaverton from new. The vehicle is supplied with a near complete history file to include the original purchase invoice from new.

This car is offered to require sympathetic restoration, the vehicle shows its original Matching Number engine, 911928 and Transmission 131483 supplied with the vehicle from new. Although this car today shows many years of warehouse storage it does show the full potential to restore and transform to an original, much in demand soft window, Short Wheel Base (SWB) Porsche. Later versions of the Targa revert to a solid rear window owing to shrinkage and refitting of the soft ‘ragtop’ on these early models.
